Step 1 - Create Project Charter
In this first phase, we discuss the three project pillars - scope, time and money - as well as setting realistic goals, integrating with business practises and gaining management approval.
Step 2 - Complete Assessment and Select Performance Metrics
In the second phase, we guide you through collecting the data needed to complete an assessment. We recommend data collection strategies and then provide information use the data gathered to create performance metrics. In this phase we recommend that you use the Green IT Toolkit however, you can also use other tools.
Step 3 - Implement Practises
In the third phase, we provide a comprehensive discussion on over 20 Green IT practises you can implement to save money, energy and the environment and most of them at little or no cost to your organization.
